Brad Miller and Lynda Wolf combined have nearly 50 years of experience in the field of infertility and reproductive endocrinology. All are board certified in reproductive endocrinology and infertility. Their areas of expertise includes but is not limited to assisted reproductive technology (ART) including IVF and ICSI, pre implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD), pre implantation genetic screening (PGS), male factor infertility, egg donation, egg freezing, all aspects of female infertility, reproductive endocrinology, PCOS, microsurgery and advanced laparoscopy.

A rainbow baby is a child born after miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth, or infant loss. While they do not take away the grief of loss, they shine as a reminder of hope, resilience, and love.

The RMA of Michigan team is honored to walk alongside our families through each chapter of their journey.

The term rainbow baby comes from the Shannon Adler quote, “After every storm, there is a rainbow.” 🌈

It refers to a baby born after the loss of a child, either during pregnancy or after delivery. The arrival of a rainbow baby can bring deep healing while also stirring bittersweet emotions. It is a journey where joy, sorry, love, and loss often walk hand in hand. 💙

This day also commemorates the birth of the first IVF baby, Louise Joy Brown, whose arrival changed the course of reproductive medicine forever.

IVF now accounts for approximately 2.6% of all births in the United States, and that number continues to grow. According to SART’s most recent national report, the number of babies born from IVF increased from 91,771 in 2022 to 95,860 in 2023.
