Dr. Daniel Haddad has a global reach and is right in your backyard. Noteworthy achievements include: 2018 - Dr. Haddad performs Michigan's first SMILE for Astigmatism in October 2017 - Dr. Haddad is recognized by Crains Business Detroit as a 2017 Health Care Hero runner up for advancements in the field of LASIK 2017 - Dr. Haddad performs Michigan's first SMILE for Myopia 2016 - Kresge Eye Institute awards Dr. Haddad a lifetime achievement award 2014 - Introduced the first Zeiss VisuMax and Zeiss MEL80 lasers in Michigan 2011 - Developed and patented a technique to dynamically center LASIK 2005 - First in Michigan to offer Iris Registration tracking technology 2004 - Discovered a flaw in laser tracking, awarded best paper; ASCRS 2003 - Introduced VISX CustomVue LASIK technology 1997 - Dedicated LASIK center opens in Troy, MI 1996 - Dr. Haddad performs first LASIK procedure 1995 - Developed an introduced CustomRK vision correction procedure
