Thanksgiving is a time to reflect on all that we are grateful for. Here at Eddy Memorial, we would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to all our beloved residents and families for entrusting their care to us. We are also grateful for the amazing staff we have here who work tirelessly everyday to ensure that our residents are happy, healthy, and engaged. For the last 10 years, she's been "a beacon of compassion, commitment, and positivity" at Eddy Memorial. Sharon Cossey began her journey here as a CNA and quickly became known for her heartfelt care and deep connection with our residents. Her empathy and attentiveness made her a favorite among residents, families, and staff alike. Then 4 1/2 years ago, she became the senior secretary for both of our long-term care units and she’s been nothing short of exceptional ever since! Sharon's organizational skills are unmatched, her person-centered approach is inspiring, and her ability to keep everything running smoothly is a gift to all here! And when the need arises? Sharon doesn’t hesitate to jump right back in to help as a CNA, showing her unwavering dedication to both her team and our residents. What also sets Sharon apart is her infectious positivity. She arrives early every day, always with a smile and a heart full of kindness. Her presence makes EMGC not just a place to work—but a place to thrive.
