Important update for our CHA families 📢💙

Due to ongoing community transmission, the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services (MDHHS) is now recommending an accelerated first dose of the MMR vaccine for infants ages 6–11 months in certain areas.

This is a proactive step to help protect our youngest patients ❤️

The MMR vaccine is routinely recommended at 12-15 months with a second dose given a minimum of 28 days after the first dose. If your child receives this early dose, they will still need two additional doses after 12 months to complete the series.
