This week, I’m practicing what I teach.
Rest is not weakness. It’s physiology.

If you’ve been pushing through pain, stress, or exhaustion, let this be your permission slip:

Slow down.
Sit down.
Breathe.

Take 3 minutes today.
Slow your breath.
Let your body catch up.

Try this 3-Minute Reset:

Sit comfortably and place one hand on your chest and one on your belly.

Inhale slowly through your nose for 4 counts.

Pause gently for 2.

Exhale through your mouth for 6 counts.

Repeat for 5 rounds.

Longer exhales signal safety to your nervous system.
Safety is where healing begins.

I protect every 3rd Saturday for family time, and next weekend I’ll be attending my son’s chess tournament.
