Let me be clear on the problems with Kayren Brantley and her tiny store mentioned here. She had sold us a prescription we did not want or ever order by hiding it among several other picked up orders. She KNEW we didn't want it beforehand. Dr. Touber Vang mistakenly sent an order (FAX) in to White Star Pharmacy for it. We did NOT ask him to do this.
After one visit he did nothing medically useful except misdiagnose and which was nearly fatal. But by the grace of God, Carmen, his one time patient, miraculously survived this.
I returned the errant prescription to White Star for a refund as directed by an employee. Brantley then made us return all our prescriptions in order to get that one refund, and out of NOTHING BUT HATEFULNESS AND SPITE, confiscated all our prescriptions for revenge for doing that one return. And then she took a week to give us our money back after burning our prescription orders permanently.
Brantley then excused this pathetic tantrum by telling everyone the names of our prescriptions and falsely accused us of being heavy drug users publicly, solely for defamation by using private protected prescription information. This was and IS a felony level crime for HIPAA covered entities as Brantley is, using private protected medical information under HIPAA for public defamation. The crime includes a 100,000 fine and up to 1 year in prison as the law is written. But rather, she made me appear in court as a defendant because my complaint letter offended her, and yet again, she wanted to just get even, NOT to do the right and legal thing.
According to a few others who've contacted me, Brantley is said to be a careless, reckless, and irresponsible person, and she at the very least proved that in our former dealings. Some may find out what a petty POS she can actually be, while others may never have to experience it to understand it. If not for this one tantrum, we might, sadly, still be doing business there.
