March is Social Work Month, and we are proud to recognize the professionals who make a difference every single day at Troy Regional.

Our social workers are a vital source of support for patients and families navigating some of life’s most challenging moments. Whether helping coordinate care, providing emotional support, or connecting patients with critical resources, their impact reaches far beyond the hospital walls.

Thank you to Kailly Jernigan, MJ Melton, and Aniya Russ-Hinton, all part of our Senior Behavioral Care staff. MJ is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, while Kailly and Aniya are Licensed Master Social Workers.

Wound care is essential to the health and well-being of patients with wounds, and taking steps toward good nutrition is essential to the wound-healing process. March is Nutrition Awareness Month and it's important to know that wounds must be well-fed to heal, requiring increased amounts of calories, protein, water and specific vitamins and minerals. Don’t delay! It’s important to get the care you need and deserve. Make an appointment at Troy Regional Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine by calling 334-566-0546 today!
