Gentiva Hospice Troy office, had a great time enjoying a little holiday cheer at our annual office Christmas party. Even though we were too busy laughing, eating, and enjoying time together to get many photos, we did manage to capture a few. White elephant gift exchange, baked potato bar, and team building fun was had by all. Merry Christmas!

What a wonderful Vendor Fair today, hosted by Stanly County Senior Center Vendor Fair Expo. Health Care Vendors from all aspects of senior care services came together to provide education and information about the services they offer to the community. It was great to interact with local seniors, some familiar faces, and meet some new folks as well. Gentiva Hospice is honored to partner in such an important community resource event.

Joshua Morton-Cockerham was selected to represent North Carolina for the STAR leadership development program, an initiative that focuses on growing and empowering future leaders within our organization. Josh and other Gentiva team members participated in this meaningful training led by Gentiva executives across the company, during which they were assigned a challenging topic to research and present to leadership as a team. Josh and his group, who represented Indiana, California, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Texas, spent months on team calls, research, and interviews, in order to dive deep into their topic: Hospice Nursing Burnout- A Crisis In Compassion.

What a great time was had this morning in Stanly County!
From hosting our monthly Veterans Breakfast at the Stanly County Senior Center, along with Amivie TLC at home, to hosting a fun-filled penny auction at the Care Cafe senior respite program. Laughter, full bellies, and great conversations were had by all. But most importantly, it was creating the best memories with so many amazing seniors.
