Why You Might Feel Worse Before You Feel Better with Spinal Flow
Healing doesn’t always feel light and easy at first—and that’s okay. When you begin your Spinal Flow journey, it’s actually quite common to notice a temporary increase in discomfort, whether it’s physical pain, emotional heaviness, or old patterns resurfacing. This isn’t a step backward—it’s part of the release.
For many of us, the body has been holding onto stress, trauma, and emotional tension for years—sometimes decades. These stored experiences settle deep in the nervous system and spine, creating blockages that interrupt the natural flow of energy. As we begin to unlock these patterns through Spinal Flow, the body starts to speak again.
That might look like pain in an old injury, unexpected emotions rising to the surface, or a sudden awareness of tension you hadn’t noticed before. This is not something to fear. It’s your body beginning to let go.
What’s surfacing now is what your body is finally ready to release.
Pain is not the enemy—it’s communication. As your nervous system begins to rewire and reconnect, old sensations may come up as part of the clearing process. This is healing in layers. And it’s temporary.
Here’s what I’ve seen time and time again: the clients who experience the most powerful shifts are the ones who stay committed. They keep coming, even when it feels intense. They trust the wisdom of their body and understand that healing isn’t always comfortable—but it is always leading them somewhere better.
The only ones who don’t get the results they came for are those who stop right before the breakthrough. Just before the body lets go of what it no longer needs.
Each session creates more space. Each session supports your body in coming back into balance.
So if you’re in a tough patch right now, keep going. Trust the process. Your body knows exactly what it’s doing.
And what’s on the other side? Peace. Freedom. Clarity. And a deep reconnection to who you truly are.
