We are thrilled to have been apart of Schenectady County’s Harvest Festival 2025, along with New York State Office for the Aging and Schenectady County Long Term Care Council at Proctors Theatre Schenectady on October 21, 2025.

Over three hundred Seniors attended a day of vendors, information and awards luncheon. Students from Scotia-Glenville served the attendees, as the “Older New Yorker of the Year” Awards were given to those who served the community through volunteer service for decades. As a welcome surprise, the high school students who had served the Seniors, walked up to the front of the room, assembled in rows and started singing. A moving version of the Carter Family’s “Will the Circle Be Unbroken” brought applause, smiles and a standing ovation.
