A surge of blood flow underneath the cups. The suction created by the cups lifts the skin, fascia, and soft tissues away from the muscle. This negative pressure dilates the blood vessels and pulls fresh, oxygen-rich blood into the localized area, which stimulates healing, eases muscle tension, and promotes relaxation
Cupping has been found to affect the body up to 1-4 cm (often cited in literature as 1.5 to 4 inches, which translates to a tissue depth of roughly 1 to 10 cm) into the tissues
