Veteran's Services Awareness!

Oakland/Macomb -- Free Focus: HOPE food boxes are available to Oakland and Macomb County residents aged 60 or older who meet monthly income requirements:

• Household of 1: $1,957 or less
• Household of 2: $2,644 or less
• Add $688 for each additional household member

The food box can be picked up at Disability Network Eastern Michigan’s Troy office once a month.

From October 19 to 26, 2025, the city of Astana, Kazakhstan, will host the 2nd Chess Olympiad for People with Disabilities – a landmark event that celebrating inclusion, unity, and the power of the human mind.

Congratulations, Mid City Nutrition Soup Kitchen! Your expansion will allow you to transform the lives of even more people in our community.

The culmination of a years-long, multi-million-dollar project, Mid City Nutrition recently opened a state-of-the-art building that features enhanced food storage space, a teaching kitchen, and a large dining hall to host daily, sit-down meals.
