Louise (Hammond) Dimon

Louise (Hammond) Dimon, 88, of Athens, PA, formerly of Bentley Creek, PA passed away on Friday, February 20, 2026, at the Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre, PA. She was the loving wife of the late Richard H. “Dick” Dimon who passed away on March 10, 2020. The couple married on September 3, 1955, and had 64 happy years together.

Louise was born on April 25, 1937, in Towanda, PA daughter of the late Raymond C. and Marie (Cowles) Hammond. She was the Cafeteria Manager for over 30 years for the Gladys Burnham Elementary School and retired in 2000. Louise was a member of the Bentley Creek Wesleyan Church and its choir, enjoyed playing golf and was a member of Pinecroft Golf Club. She enjoyed square dancing and bowling with her husband Dick. Louise also enjoyed watching her grandchildren play sports, sewing, gardening, cooking, and singing,

Louise is survived by her daughters Cynthia (Mac) MacCracken and Kathy (Jeff) Inman, her son Rick (Brigette) Dimon, 8 grandchildren, 4 step grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Dick, her brothers: Charles, Stewart, and James Hammond, and sister Vera Kennedy.

Family and friends are welcome to call from 1:00-3:00 pm on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the Bentley Creek Wesleyan Church, 13255 Berwick Turnpike, Gillett, PA. The Celebration of Louise’s life will be held following the viewing at 3:00 pm at the church with her pastor, Rev. Robert Wuethrich officiating. Burial will take place in Rome Cemetery on Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at 1:00 PM. The Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. 1093 West Main Street Troy, PA has been trusted with the arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made in Louise’s memory to the Bentley Creek Wesleyan Church, 13255 Berwick Turnpike, Gillett, PA 16925.

Ralph William Knapp

Ralph William Knapp, of Troy, PA, passed away on February 6, 2026, at the age of 88, at Troy Community Hospital in Troy, PA. Born on November 22, 1937, in Towanda, PA, Ralph dedicated his life to service, community, and family.

Ralph proudly served his country as a veteran of the United States Air Force, before embarking on a long and respected career as a rural mail carrier with the United States Postal Service. A man of many talents, Ralph was known for his ability to fix anything and his unwavering willingness to lend a hand to anyone in need.

Throughout his life, Ralph was deeply committed to his community. He was a life member of the Western Alliance Ambulance, where he served for over 30 years and held several offices. Ralph was also an honorary active member of the Oscoluwa Engine & Hose Company for over 55 years and a past president and trustee of the Armenia Snowmobile Club. His dedication extended to serving as a Boy Scout leader, being a member of the Troy Rod & Gun Club, and participating as a committee member of the Friends of the NRA. Moreover, he contributed significantly to the Pennsylvania Rural Letter Carriers Association, holding numerous offices, and was the current president of the Bradford County Heritage Association.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Priscilla E. (Wood) Knapp, whom he married on September 7, 1957. Ralph leaves behind his son, Wade E. (LuAnn) Knapp of Troy, PA, and his daughter, Eva R. (Greg) McCoy of Grant, FL. He was the proud grandfather of Marta, Ellie, and Kyle Knapp, and is also survived by his sister Linda Leonard of Texas, numerous nieces and nephews with special nephew Dean Vanderpool.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents, Howard L. and Della L. (May) Knapp, and his siblings Ruth Vanderpool, Robert Knapp, Frankie Camp, Mary Wood, John Knapp, Frank Camp Jr., Alfred Camp, Charles Camp, William Camp, Michael Camp.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation from 3:00-4:00 PM on Saturday, February 21, 2026, at the Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., located at 1093 W Main St, Troy, PA 16947. A memorial service will follow at 4:00 PM at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor George Ogden and Pastor Donald Dennis. Military rites will be accorded by the Troy Veterans Honor Guard. At the conclusion of the memorial service at the funeral home there will be a Fireman ceremony and a time of refreshments at the Troy Fire Hall, 88 Firehouse Ln, Troy, PA 16947.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Ralph’s memory to the Heritage Village & Farm Museum, care of the Bradford County Heritage Association, PO Box 265, Troy, PA 16947, or to the Oscoluwa Engine & Hose Company, 88 Firehouse Ln, Troy, PA 16947.

Today marks Ash Wednesday, a time of reflection, humility, and remembrance. ✝️

Michael Ryan Delacruz

Michael "Mike" Ryan Delacruz, born on October 8, 1988, in Philadelphia, PA, passed away on February 13, 2026, in Troy, PA, at the age of 37. Mike was a devoted husband, father, son, and brother whose unwavering love for his family and strong faith in Jesus left a lasting impact on all who knew him.

Mike served his community as a Corrections Officer for Bradford County, PA Corrections. Outside of his work, he was an avid gamer with a particular passion for War Hammer. Known affectionately as "Danny Tanner" by his family and by “Big Mike and “Bear Paw” to his friends, Mike was deeply committed to his beloved wife and children, embodying the essence of family devotion.

A member of Fellowship Bible Church, Mike found strength and solace in his faith, which guided him throughout his life. His gentle spirit and kind heart were a testament to the values he held dear.

Mike is survived by his cherished wife, Alysson J. (Golder) Delacruz, and their children: Bella, Audrey, Ryan, Zoie, and Willow Delacruz. Mike also leaves behind his loving mother, Delores "Lori" (Hopkins) Delacruz of Philadelphia, PA, and his sisters, Rachel Lopiccolo and Brenna Delacruz. He will be fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews, along with many friends and extended family members who were touched by his kindness and generosity. Mike is preceded in death by his father, Robert Delacruz.

Family and friends are welcome to gather from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Fellowship Bible Church, 121 Mud Creek Rd, Troy, PA 16947, with the Celebration of Life Service being held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, February 21st at the church with Pastor Carl Pesesky officiating. The Gerald W. Vickery, Jr. Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc., Troy, PA has been entrusted with the arrangements.
