William Joseph “Billy” Mueller, Jr., 85, of Wellsville, Missouri, passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at Oak Pointe Assisted Living in Warrenton, Missouri. He was born on October 21, 1940 in Lincoln County, Missouri, and was the son of William Joseph Mueller, Sr. and Catherine Marie (Wing) Mueller. Billy married the love of his life, Eleanore Mae Pottebaum on August 7, 1965 in Truesdale, Missouri, and two daughters were born to this union. Eleanore preceded him in death on May, 6, 2022.

She was born on December 5, 1936, in Annapolis, Missouri, and was the daughter of William Jefferson and Clara Ann (Rayfield) Scaggs. Wanda was united in marriage to the love of her life, William Carl Hutsler, on May 3, 1958, in St. Louis, Missouri, and to this union, one daughter and one son were born. He preceded her in death on August 25, 2019.
