Aquatics Nicole I am a Certified Aquatic Therapist who loves to design inclusive aquatic programs that serve all abilities and ages. I'm a water baby. I'm a water healer.

My talent is providing healing aquatic bodywork. However, empowering kids of all abilities to learn to swim is a gift back to me. I'm an aquatic therapy educator. I love all things water. PROGRAM DESIGN: I can work with your facility to develop new specialty aquatic programs for the underserved or new target market. If there is a body of water, I can design an appropriate program. Through Specialty Aquatic Programs LLC, my business, we have over 26 highly effective and innovative aquatic clinic services and programs developed and implemented. AQUATIC THERAPY EDUCATOR: I am determined to find and mentor more aquatics professionals who believe in water healing as well. I will work with organizations, facilities and businesses to train their staff to implement specialty aquatic programs with clinical and effective data. I also love working with community in sharing pool healing topics that have empowering results. Bring it on. AQUATIC THERAPIST: I do take private pay clients, flex spending, and some health insurances with a physician script. For private pay, I/we (Specialty Aquatic Programs) do accept a sliding scale. My background and degree is a Recreation Therapist. Through a variety of methods and techniques, Recreation Therapists help reduce or eliminate the activity restrictions and increase the overall wellness of the individual. I work/serve a diverse population including those who suffer from neurotrauma, chronic pain, geriatrics, PTSD, adults with developmental disabilities, pre and post rehab and sensory issues through community reintegration and aquatic therapy.

When people ask me what I do. I tell them that I have an aquatic therapy private practice and an unintentional swim school.

Besides witnessing kids getting missed by traditional swim lessons, I was concerned about water safety competency from my 4 boys.

Would they understand unsafe water conditions before they went into the water??

Would they know what to do if they or someone else was in an unsafe situation in the water??

If you are a parent, add another layer of protection against something happening unsafe in the water. Make sure you find high quality swim lessons where you know they will be safe in open lake water like this.

Many of our families love it there so much that they’ve even become members.
We’d love to find another indoor pool like Troy Community Center—a facility that truly values inclusion and is willing to open its doors to support this awesome community.

We need your help! Our Adaptive & Therapeutic Aquatic Programs in Northville will be interrupted this January–March, and we’re looking for pool rental space for the interim or beyond, in the Northville, Novi, Plymouth, Livonia, or Canton areas.
