We need YOUR help delivering meals to homebound seniors in Lincoln County, MO! LCCOA is in urgent need of volunteer meal delivery drivers on;

Columbus Day - Monday, October 13
Veterans Day - Tuesday, November 11
Day after Christmas - Friday, December 26
Martin Luther King Jr Day - Monday, January 19, 2026

Nathaniel Thompson has been selected as Direct Support Professional of the 2nd Quarter! Nathaniel is a Life Skills Teacher and supports the gentlemen who live at 17 Opportunity Court and Walnut Creek Circle.

The following are excerpts from his written nomination -

Nathaniel invests deeply in the individuals he supports by taking the time to understand their personalities, interests and preference – making everyone feel seen, heard and valued. He thoughtfully incorporates this knowledge into daily activities, transforming routine activities of daily living into enjoyable and meaningful experiences. His ability to personalize care not only encourages participation but also fosters trust and connection.

Nathaniel extends his support beyond day-to- day care by encouraging clients to engage with their community. Nathaniel’s warm and approachable nature extends beyond the clients he directly supports. What sets him apart is his genuine attentiveness – he remembers details and brings them up in future interactions, making each person feel recognized and appreciated.
