Dr. David Kozminski of Capital Region Urology, a practice of St. Peter’s Health Partners Medical Associates, is now performing the Bulkamid procedure. He is one of three surgeons at Capital Region Urology offering the minimally-invasive treatment at St. Peter's and Samaritan hospitals.

Bulkamid is for women with stress urinary incontinence (SUI), which causes urine leaks during normal daily activities such as coughing, laughing, exercising or lifting an object. Bulkamid is a series of three to four small injections that takes just 10 – 15 minutes, delivering symptom relief for up to seven years in many patients. Sun's out, fun's out at Mercy Cares for Kids! 🌞🫧 The students at our nationally recognized Early Childhood Program are having a lot of fun this summer, with field trips, lots of time outside, and bubble parties! We are so grateful for the opportunity to help nurture and care for them at this stage in their development. 💕

What a wonderful way to kick off World Breastfeeding Week! 's Community Health Programs and Capital Region Baby Cafes hosted a free kick-off event at St. Peter's Mercy Auditorium on Friday. Parents-to-be and new parents learned about the importance of breastfeeding, had free support from lactation professionals, infant CPR and baby wearing demonstrations, giveaways, and more! A big thank you to New York state, who helped fund the event, along with the many participating community organizations!
