Meet Harrison Ray Phillips, born on Christmas Day to Molly Francis, a nurse in St. Peter's Maternity department. Molly was one of 23 staff members in the unit who gave birth in 2025. St. Peter's Hospital is proud to welcome the Capital Region's first baby born in 2026! 💕 👶 Ryan Sebastian Villa Conteron was born at St. Peter's at exactly midnight, weighing 6 lbs, 14 oz, and measuring 19 inches long. He is the first child for parents Joselin Conteron and Henry Villa of Albany.

"The first birth of the New Year is a reminder of life’s most precious gift,” said Benjamin Pinzer, director of maternity and newborn services at St. Peter’s Health Partners. “Each of the thousands of babies born each year at St. Peter’s Hospital has a unique story, and we’re privileged to be part of this family’s first chapter of the year."
