We will certainly miss our interactions with Stanley. He was always working hard on behalf of his patients.
We are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved Social Services Director, Stanley Davis, as he transitioned to his heavenly home on Saturday after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
For 37 incredible years, Stanley poured his heart and soul into Troy Health and Rehab. To say he was dedicated would be an understatement. From sun up to sun down, you could always count on seeing his warm smile, hearing one of his jokes, or watching him go above and beyond to help not only our residents, but their families as well. He never met a stranger, and he truly saw the good in everyone he encountered.
Stanley had a servant’s heart in every sense of the word. He loved deeply, gave freely, and made an unforgettable impact on every life he touched. And if you knew him, you also knew his love for Alabama football ran just as strong as his compassion for others.
The halls of Troy Health and Rehab will never be the same without him. We will miss his laughter, his kindness, his wisdom, and his unwavering presence more than words could ever express.

Services are as follows:
Visitation Saturday, May 30th from 11:00–4:00 PM at Grubbs Funeral Home
Graveside service Sunday, May 31st at 12:00 PM at Mt. Gilead Cemetery
