Inspired Life with Jeremy Ann Anderson

Inspired Life with Jeremy Ann Anderson ~ your portal to an inspired life of joy and wellness, in balance and harmony with nature ~ We are out of sync with our natural rhythms. Namaskar ~

A Clinical Ayurvedic Specialist and Pancha Karma Specialist, Jeremy graduated valedictorian from the California College of Ayurveda, the country’s premier school of Ayurveda. She also received certification from the American Institute of Vedic Studies in Ayurvedic Health Sciences and Phillip's School of Massage. Upon graduation in 2005 Jeremy was brought on as faculty at the College and continues to serve there as a Master Teacher of the Distance Learning Program. Jeremy has been a student of herbs, aromatherapy, and alternate healing modalities for many years. It was clear that her path was to Serve through healing, but it was when she discovered the ancient science of Ayurveda that she recognized immediately how that was to manifest. Ayurveda, the oldest continually practiced medical system in the world, is a truly holistic science, treating the cause of disease at its roots and allowing healing to occur on all levels, body, mind and spirit. Through the wisdom of Ayurveda, Jeremy is able to aid in the process of bringing health, wellness and balance to the world. She believes that many of the ills of society are due to our increasing distance from nature. Ayurveda can bring us back into balance with nature and within ourselves. Through this knowledge we gain a greater understanding of who we are, and that which creates harmony and disharmony, thus allowing us to live our truth and bliss. This profound science is her passion and she is honored to aid you on your path toward optimal health and peace of mind. Jeremy began her practice, Annapurna Ayurveda, at the Conscious Living Rejuvenation Center in Reno. She worked in collaberation with a Naturopath, specializing in Pancha Karma, from '05 to '07. In 2007, Jeremy and her growing family moved to Crestone, Colorado, where she ultimately opened a healing center, Ancient Arts Wellness Center. The Ancient Arts Wellness Center was home to Jeremy's practice, Annapurna Ayurveda, as well as the Ancient Arts Midwifery, the Ancient Arts Apothecary, and a massage therapy practice. This healing center was a beautiful collaboration of sacred healing modalities and gifted healers, and Jeremy found great joy in offering her Ayurveda practice through this portal. Presently, Jeremy and her family have returned and put down their roots in the Truckee/Tahoe region. Jeremy graciously offers her practice to those who find themselves on the Ayurvedic path ~ through in-patient visits in Truckee, California, or via FaceTime, Zoom, or phone visits ~ all are welcome on this Divine journey of remembering our true nature through the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda. She is seeing patients at Tahoe Yoga and Wellness Center, in Truckee, CA. Her practice has expanded and evolved into Inspired Life with Jeremy Ann Anderson ~ encompassing within it Inspired Ayurveda, Inspired Natural Medicinals, Inspired Adventure Tours, and Inspired Nature Immersion Retreats. In the quiet glow of moonlight, we find more than just light—we find space. Space to breathe, to let go, to listen to the whispers of our own rhythm. The moon’s cool touch reminds us that healing isn’t always loud or fast; sometimes it’s soft, steady, and unfolding like the tide.
This gentle feminine energy invites us to slow down, reset, and reconnect with the natural flow inside us all. Like the moon’s cycles, our growth is not linear, it’s a dance of light and shadow, pause and motion.

In Vedic tradition, the full moon—Purnima—is a sacred time of heightened energy and clarity. It symbolizes fullness, abundance, and spiritual illumination. Bathing in its light is said to cleanse the mind and open the heart, aligning us with cosmic rhythms that support growth and renewal.
This lunar phase invites deep reflection and the release of what no longer serves us, making space for new intentions and inner peace. It’s a moment to honor the feminine energy within, embracing balance, intuition, and healing.

🌿 Nature’s Invisible Medicine: Negative Ions by the River 💧

Ever wonder why you feel so alive after sitting near a rushing river or waterfall?

That refreshed, grounded feeling isn’t just in your head — it’s in the air. Flowing water generates negative ions, tiny molecules that can:

✨ Boost serotonin
✨ Improve oxygen flow to the brain
✨ Reduce stress and fatigue
✨ Enhance mood and focus

Negative ions are most abundant in nature — near rivers, waterfalls, forests, and after rainstorms. They work like nature’s reset button, helping to clear the mental fog and uplift your energy.

So next time life feels heavy, go where the river flows.
Your nervous system will thank you.

🌿✨ I’m honored to be speaking at the 70th International Conference – Ayurveda for Perfect Health this September in California.

My talk is called:
Ayurveda and the Intelligence of Nature: Healing Beyond the Clinic
Because Ayurveda is not just protocol—it's a living relationship with life itself.

Beneath every classical text is an ancient invitation:
To listen. To align. To remember that healing doesn’t come from us, it comes through us—when we restore coherence between inner and outer nature.

I’ll be sharing how we can return to the rhythms of nature as medicine, and how Ayurveda helps us reclaim the deeper intelligence that sustains true health.

It’s that special time of year when Ayurveda encourages us to reset and realign with the season. As we shift from winter’s heaviness into the lightness of spring, it’s an ideal moment to clear out excess kapha—sluggishness, congestion, and stagnation—and support the body in releasing toxins that may have accumulated over the colder months.

Join us for three weeks of self-love, nourishment, and seasonal wellness. Through simple Ayurvedic practices, gentle cleansing, and intentional routines, you’ll support your digestion, strengthen your immunity, and cultivate more energy and clarity as we move into the warmer months.

This is a chance to reconnect with yourself, embrace the rhythms of nature, and feel more vibrant in both body and mind.

Sign up on our website to join the cleanse and give yourself the care you deserve.

Music literally has the power to heal.

Scientists at the Instituto de Biofísica Carlos Chagas Filho, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, are investigating a unique approach to cancer treatment — music.

Led by Dr. Márcia Alves Marques Capella, the research team exposed both healthy and cancerous cells to different musical compositions. Intriguingly, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 was found to destroy about 20% of cancer cells while leaving healthy cells untouched.

A similar effect was noted with György Ligeti’s Atmosphères, while Mozart’s Sonata for Two Pianos showed no impact. The researchers believe that certain elements of music, such as rhythm and frequency, might play a crucial role in these effects.

Although the exact mechanism remains unclear, this study opens the door to new possibilities in non-invasive cancer treatment.

Please help support *NariNauka 2025: Empowering Women on the Ganges River*

This is my passion project. My heart. We're onto our second year and are ready to get some of the advanced women on their way to becoming trainers, themselves, and also to welcome a brand new batch of women who want to become river guides!

NariNauka is proud to be the first-ever Women's Whitewater Raft Guide School on the Ganges River in India, a groundbreaking initiative designed to empower women in the whitewater rafting industry.

The Need
Despite a growing interest in adventure sports, there remains a significant gap in female representation among raft guides on the Ganges River. The absence of a clear path and a supportive environment has limited opportunities for women to enter and thrive in this profession. This lack of inclusivity has hindered the growth of women in whitewater rafting and adventure tourism on the Ganges.

Our Solution
NariNauka aims to empower and nurture a community of women who are trained, supported, and equipped to thrive as professional raft guides. Our comprehensive curriculum culminates in certifications such as SWR and ACA Guide Certification, enabling these women to step confidently into the world of whitewater guiding. By creating a nurturing environment, we provide the tools and mentorship needed to sustain their careers long term, making a lasting impact on the industry and the community.

The Impact
Our program will not only provide women with greater career opportunities but also create a more inclusive, diverse, and resilient community on the Ganges River. By training more female-identifying guides, we will foster an environment where future generations can envision themselves in this profession, contributing to a more representative and supportive whitewater space.

2024 Inaugural Program Success
The inaugural NariNauka program in 2024 was a resounding success. Fourteen women completed an intensive 5-day course that provided essential rafting skills, safety training, and leadership development. These women gained both hard and soft skills that are crucial for their success as whitewater guides, including technical rafting, rescue protocols, communication, and leadership abilities. In addition to technical skills, the program created a strong, supportive network that empowered participants to move forward in their careers and become part of a thriving community.

Expanding the Program for 2025
We saw tremendous growth in the 2024 program, but also recognized the need to expand the curriculum to better prepare participants for the diverse challenges they will face as guides. In 2025, we are excited to launch a longer and more comprehensive program, with an extended duration, enhanced technical training, and additional time spent on the water. The new curriculum will provide a more thorough grounding in high-stress situations, rescue techniques, and decision-making under pressure.

Our goal is to create a sustainable pipeline of women leaders who will go on to mentor and teach the next generation of female guides. By building a community where women continue to support and empower one another, we ensure the program’s legacy of diversity and leadership in the whitewater industry.

Your Support
We need to raise $24,620 to bring NariNauka II to life, and we’re hoping to raise $10,000 through our Zeffy campaign. Your generous donation will help provide these women with the training, support, and certifications they need to succeed, creating lasting change and opportunity for future generations of female guides.

Your contribution will directly impact the lives of these women, empowering them to break barriers, lead with confidence, and shape the future of whitewater rafting on the Ganges River.

Together, we can make a real difference. Thank you for being part of this transformative journey!
