Summer is here, and that means more people, more consumption, and more trash production. Let's remember to have self accountability and be responsible for what we produce and get rid of. And of course, follow bear protocol. Make sure to remind our visitors of our local culture whereas many come from other countries and might have different customs..Or maybe they are on vacation and left their brain at home. Either way, let's start the summer vibes respecting this amazing palace we live in!

Willow Esch (they/them)

Willow is a healer who uses Western Medical Herbalism and Massage Therapy to help their clients experience holistic health. Willow started their career in 2012 as a Certified Athletic Trainer, providing Sports Medicine care for athletes from youth to professional level. Since leaving Athletic Training, Willow has received over 800 hours of training in Western Medical Herbalism from ACORN School in Nevada City, CA and Green Medicine Herb School in Grass Valley, CA. Willow has also completed a 500-hour Massage Therapy Certification from the Massage Therapy Institute in Davis, CA. Willow uses Swedish, Deep Tissue, Acupressure, Reflexology, Cranial Sacral, and Energetic Healing techniques to provide personalized sessions designed to provide pain relief, nervous system restoration, and support healing from injury.

We kicked off summer with our Staff Party Thursday...we rafted the Truckee River...SO FUN!! Big shout out to the staff at IRIE Rafting Company for taking such good care of us. (Check them out at: raftirie.com)

With much love and gratitude, we are saying goodbye to Nicole. Her last day is June 15...so book NOW, if you want to get in with her! Nicole has been the anchor of our team for longer than anyone else here (more than 20 years, but who's counting?). We are very sad to see her go, but so excited for her, and happy that she isn't going far... Nicole found the perfect office space in Tahoe City...she'll even be able to bike to work!

OTHER STAFFING/SERVICE UPDATES:


Sven Renner is offering reiki and angel work. His typical shift will be Mondays 10-3, call or text if you have a request outside of those hours.

Marina is back for two months and looks forward to sharing her healing skills. We are excited to have her energy back in the office.

Kristi will be scaling back her shifts at Truckee Massage to Mondays and Saturdays.

Autum is a newer member of the Truckee Massage team who's currently creating a facial service to be ready by summer!

Truckee Massage sends love and is holding sadness with all our family, friends, humans, and the wildlife in L.A county. There's so much devastation and loss. There's even more love and support surrounding you. ❤️‍🩹✨️

This picture was taken last week in Florida in a highly affected area from hurricanes Helene and Milton. This palm tree reminded me of the resilience we have and the beauty that continues to show herself after suffering. May the horrific experiences happening in Southern California create strength, tolerance, and unity amongst humans to support each other and rebuild.
