The Darius Chappell Holiday Giving Foundation, Inc., was started by Shantavia Chappell, LMSW, Class of '23. Shantavia started this nonprofit to keep her 5 year old son Darius' name alive. Darius passed away in October 2022, and Shantavia began this organization in November 2022.

Last year, the organization provided toys to 40 children at Kiddie Tech University in West Haven, CT. Shantavia hopes to continue to collect more toys each year for donations, and we are proud to help her with that goal.

Below, is a link to a school collecting toys for the holidays in Darius' name. As a member to the Xi Xi Chapter, I am sharing the list in hopes we can collect the toys needed.
