From the first two letters of Torah Bet and Resh, BaR, Son.
In the beginning—Beresheet—was the WORD, the first fruit (ReSHeeT). Through whom all things were made, and God SAID.
And the last Word of Scripture? AMEN
In Revelation 3:14, Jesus calls Himself “the Amen”
“This is the message from the one who is the Amen—the faithful and true witness”
Yet God does infinitely and astoundingly more, revealing His invisible attributes and divine nature through the work of His hands:
If you take the first letter of Torah- Bet and the last letter of Scripture-Nun: BeN, Son.
And between BaR and BeN—between the Son, the beginning of all Creation, and the Son, the culmination of all Creation—centered between Beresheet and Amen, between the beginning and so be it: for God so loved the world He gave His One and Only
SON.
From Genesis (“through the Son/firstfruit”) to Revelation (“the Amen,” who is Christ the faithful witness—Revelation 3:14), everything testifies to Him. He is who He says He is: the beginning and the end, the Alpha and the Omega, the Aleph and the Tav.
For every promise of God, in His Son they are YES. and so through the Son, is our AMEN.
Embedded within Scripture the way, the truth, and the life: JESUS.
It’s as if the Spirit is hovering over the chaos of our time in the world, whispering REST you were created through Christ, you are sustained by Christ, and in the end you will dwell in His glorious light forever.
