IT'S ALMOST HERE... Truth or Consequences Fiesta returns May 1-3 for its 76th year! π€© The 2026 celebration marks the United States of America's 250th birthday, with the three-day festival sporting a patriotic theme: βRed, White & Blue.β
The Fiesta Main Stage, once again be located downtown at the Bank of the Southwest parking lot on N. Broadway St., will feature free live music, entertainment and a street dance. Festivities kick off on the evening of Friday, May 1, and continue through the evening of Saturday, May 2 with performances, local vendors, food trucks and the Truth or Consequences Brewery Beer Garden β creating a lively downtown atmosphere for all ages.
On the morning of Saturday, May 2, The Collaborativeβs Color Run starts at 8 a.m. at Tractor Supply. The beloved Fiesta Parade will follow downtown at 10 a.m. Decorated floats, vehicles and community groups are invited to participate in a celebration of this yearβs patriotic theme. Awards will be presented to standout entries.
Throughout the weekend, visitors can enjoy an exciting lineup of events including the Fiesta Follies Variety Show, Desert Glow Fest, the Sierra County Sheriffβs Posse Freedom Rodeo and Dance, and basketball, volleyball, co****le and skateboarding tournaments. Families can also explore the Kids' Carnival and activities at Healing Waters Plaza, browse local vendors and food trucks, and take part in unique Fiesta traditions such as the Junk Boat Races, the annual Duck Races fundraiser and the Kids' Fishing Derby at Ralph Edwards Park.
Sunday, May 3, will bring the popular NHS Waffle Bar, followed by outdoor fun along the river including the Junk Boat Races and the annual Duck Races. With three full days of entertainment, community events and flavorful New Mexico hospitality, TorC Fiesta 2026 promises something for everyone.
