TRUTH OR CONSEQUENCES FALL FIESTA unfurls Friday-Sunday, September 12-14! This new seasonal happening — presented by the City of Truth or Consequences and MainStreet Truth or Consequences, and sponsored by, among many other contributors, regional radio station favorites Your Country 103.9 KGRT and Classic Rock 98.7 — continues this year's celebration of Fiesta's Diamond Anniversary. Moreover, it coincides with the 20th anniversary of MainStreet's incredibly successful monthly Second Saturday Art Hop downtown TorC event. Please see the accompanying schedule of planned activities; the radio stations will also be onsite at Healing Waters Plaza with prizes and giveaways from 9:30 to 11:30 Saturday morning, and the detailed games/contests schedule and related registrations are now available at torcfiesta.com.

HAPPENING T-O-N-I-G-H-T... Thursday, July 10! A gala EDDINGTON post-media premiere drone show will get underway above downtown Truth or Consequences, NM, at 10 p.m. Additional celebratory details in Truth or Consequences Brewery's announcement below... see y'all out there later this evening! 🎉🎥🎬🤠🤩 (NOTE: Drone show is presumably weather permitting.)

𝗧𝗢𝗡𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧, 𝗝𝗨𝗟𝗬 𝟭𝟬, 𝟭𝟬𝗣𝗠 ✨ A special drone show by A24 will be visible from downtown with over 100 drones to create an unforgettable experience 🤩 (drone show will play 3 times, 10pm - 11:30pm)

There will also be an after party here at the brewery with (some) of the cast & crew from the Eddington Movie 🎬 10pm - 1am

And we're excited to see how EDDINGTON has turned out, as Austin Arts Retreat housed its production designer and several of the key crew for the major A24 feature during its three-month shoot in Truth or Consequences last year. We also provided lodging for crew of the critically acclaimed independent film ALIEN INTERVENTION (a.ka. THE WARM SEASON) a couple years back, and our facilities are popular with filmmakers and artists generally. THE GOOD, THE RAD AND THE RETRO: This intriguing and evocative official one-sheet poster has just been released by production company A24 for writer-director Ari Aster's EDDINGTON, filmed primarily here in Truth or Consequences, NM. Notably, the artwork gives the Land of Enchantment's famously gloomy effigy Zozobra significant visual play along with stars Joaquin Phoenix, Pedro Pascal, Emma Stone and Austin Butler, plus a local landmark or two. It very much combines the movie poster aesthetics of PALE RIDER and APOCALYPSE NOW; the mask, deliberately obfuscated drone and cell phone come off as contemporary satirical counterpoints within this classically styled Western/war flick visual context. Talk amongst yourselves... 😉 (The film opens in downtown TorC at the El Cortez Theater on July 18.)
