IT'S ALMOST HERE... Truth or Consequences Fiesta returns May 1-3 for its 76th year! 🤩 The 2026 celebration marks the United States of America's 250th birthday, with the three-day festival sporting a patriotic theme: “Red, White & Blue.”

The Fiesta Main Stage, once again be located downtown at the Bank of the Southwest parking lot on N. Broadway St., will feature free live music, entertainment and a street dance. Festivities kick off on the evening of Friday, May 1, and continue through the evening of Saturday, May 2 with performances, local vendors, food trucks and the Truth or Consequences Brewery Beer Garden — creating a lively downtown atmosphere for all ages.

On the morning of Saturday, May 2, The Collaborative’s Color Run starts at 8 a.m. at Tractor Supply. The beloved Fiesta Parade will follow downtown at 10 a.m. Decorated floats, vehicles and community groups are invited to participate in a celebration of this year’s patriotic theme. Awards will be presented to standout entries.

Throughout the weekend, visitors can enjoy an exciting lineup of events including the Fiesta Follies Variety Show, Desert Glow Fest, the Sierra County Sheriff’s Posse Freedom Rodeo and Dance, and basketball, volleyball, co****le and skateboarding tournaments. Families can also explore the Kids' Carnival and activities at Healing Waters Plaza, browse local vendors and food trucks, and take part in unique Fiesta traditions such as the Junk Boat Races, the annual Duck Races fundraiser and the Kids' Fishing Derby at Ralph Edwards Park.

Sunday, May 3, will bring the popular NHS Waffle Bar, followed by outdoor fun along the river including the Junk Boat Races and the annual Duck Races. With three full days of entertainment, community events and flavorful New Mexico hospitality, TorC Fiesta 2026 promises something for everyone.

IT WAS SO MUCH FUN hosting Gene Simmons of KISS fame, actor James Franco, and the rest of the cast and crew of the upcoming feature comedy LOVE MEETS IN THE SUNSHINE at Austin Arts Retreat in November. The production used our premises for both general staging and filming. Looking forward to seeing the movie! 🎥🎬🥰

ROCKIN' THREADS FOR A VENERABLE ROCKER: KISS band co-founder, bassist and co-lead singer Gene Simmons, in Truth or Consequences recently as a film producer and performer in the upcoming James Franco / Nick Antonyan-starring feature road-trip comedy LOVE MEETS IN THE SUNSHINE, was presented with this signature custom-designed shirt by longtime local clothing retailer Dukatt '71 Tie-Dye Kingdom and tie-dye artist Jeff Dukatt. The Israel-born musician, the son of a Holocaust survivor, has entertained audiences for more than half a century onstage and onscreen. Simmons was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2014 as a member of KISS and, last month, was awarded a Kennedy Center Honor for lifetime artistic contributions along with surviving fellow KISS bandmates Peter Criss and Paul Stanley. (Lead guitarist Paul Daniel "Ace" Frehley passed at 74 last October.) Thanks for spending some creative and kick-back time in TorC, Gene!

AN AMAZING COLLAB! And we're excited to see how EDDINGTON has turned out, as Austin Arts Retreat housed its production designer and several of the key crew for the major A24 feature during its three-month shoot in Truth or Consequences last year. We also provided lodging for crew of the critically acclaimed independent film ALIEN INTERVENTION (a.ka. THE WARM SEASON) a couple years back, and our facilities are popular with filmmakers and artists generally.
