Join us in the studio before our next forecasted bit of winter weather!

THURSDAY:
4:30pm Mat Pilates
5:30pm Reformer Level 1.5

FRIDAY:
8am Mat Pilates
12pm Reformer Level 2

Stuck at home and can’t make it to class?
Try this quick & modifiable no-equipment-necessary mat workout!
See video for modifications and exercises/reps below.

*The Hundred - 100 pumps of the arms over 10 full breaths
*The Roll-up - 5 reps (shown here with various modifications)
*One Leg Circle - 5 each direction each leg
*Single Leg Stretch - 6-10 reps each leg
*Double Leg Stretch - 6-10 reps
*Spine Stretch - 5 reps
*Saw - 3-5 each direction
*Swan - 3 with optional neck roll
*Bridge - stay in a smaller range as needed, 3-5 reps (plus knee marches for a challenge!)
*Teaser - begin with single leg variation (3 each leg) and progress to both legs up. Practice lowering with control!
*Swimming - keep it slow or speed it up! 10-20 reps
*Leg pull front - hold 10 seconds, shift forward & back 3x, or add leg lifts!
*stretch break!
*Mermaid stretch - 2-3 each side

**Finish with 1-3 sets of 3-5 pushups if you want a more vigorous finish 😉

We now offer a mat Pilates class on Thursdays at 4:30pm!

Experience the original Pilates mat work: a series of exercises that move the spine in all directions all while keeping you focused on your powerhouse (the muscles of your abdominals, back and hips). Classes emphasize the foundational principals of Pilates: Concentration, Control, Center, Flow, Precision and Breath. Participants can expect to work on the foundational movements of Pilates in order to master and advance the classic exercises, making this adaptable for all levels!
