Get to know Dr. Dan
As a young man, Dan worked for a physician who was frustrated with obstacles and expense in primary care. After learning first-hand how powerful a good doctor-patient relationship can be, Dan knew what he had to do. More than a decade, two degrees, a marriage and a daughter later, Dr. Moore was ready to join the direct primary care revolution.

Here is a guide based on age:

Ages 20 to 39: Every 5 years.
Ages 40 to 54: Every 2 to 4 years.
Ages 55 to 64: Every 1 to 3 years.
Ages 65 and up: Every 1 to 2 years.

August is National Immunization Awareness Month (NIAM), a time dedicated to highlighting the importance of vaccines for individuals of all ages. NIAM emphasizes how vaccinations can prevent serious and sometimes fatal diseases and illnesses.

July is Sarcoma Awareness Month
Sarcoma is a type of childhood cancer that can develop in various tissues such as muscle, fat, fibrous tissue, blood vessels, tendons, connective tissues, or other supporting tissues in the body. Rhabdomyosarcoma is the most common, making up about half of pediatric soft tissue sarcoma cases. Other, less common, pediatric soft tissue sarcomas include fibrosarcoma, mesenchymoma, synovial sarcoma, and liposarcoma.
