✨ It’s finally here… grooming at SOAH! ✨

For a long time, we’ve been telling our clients that expanded grooming services were coming—and we’re so excited to officially say… we’re ready. 🐾

Please join us in welcoming Courtney to the SOAH & Cranberry Creek family!

Courtney is a local mom to a beautiful baby girl, a devoted wife, and someone who truly lives and breathes the dog world. When she’s not grooming, she’s actively involved in breed and hunting clubs with her own dogs—and she brings that same level of passion, knowledge, and care to every pet she works with.

She is currently working toward her Master Groomer certification and will be leading our grooming team as we continue to grow. More importantly, she’s just an all-around wonderful human and an incredibly hard worker—and we feel so lucky to have her (and her family) as part of ours. 💛

We’ll be sharing some of her beautiful work here, and Courtney is officially open for booking for SOAH clients!

Our Manners Bootcamp is a great way to set a solid foundation of obedience on your puppy, or new to you, pup! 🐶

Throughout our two week program, your dog learns their basic commands, how to walk well on a leash, how to have manners (and make good decisions 😜), and socialization! 🙌

We teach you how to communicate with your dog - not only through words, but with the leash & spatial pressure as well!

But let’s be real - it’s not all about your sits & stays, it’s about creating a relationship. A handler - dog relationship! One where your dog respects you & looks to you as their leader! Solid relationships lead to effective communication!

That being said, here’s recent graduate puppy - REBEL 💙

This soon to be 6-month-old Doberman puppy was an absolute blast & quite possibly my favorite sour patch kid yet 😜

I can’t wait to see how Rebel matures & settles into his training at home! 🏠

Big news for our SOAH family ❤️

We’re incredibly proud to share that we’ve officially completed the acquisition of Cranberry Creek Pet Lodging.

This has been a long time coming, and not a decision we made lightly. Behind the scenes, it also meant a very personal shift for our family. Megan made the difficult decision to step back from her career as a scientist—something she worked incredibly hard for—in order to take a more active role in the hospital, be more present for our family, and help guide this next chapter of growth. It wasn’t easy, but it was the right step for where life is leading us.

What makes this moment so special isn’t just the expansion—it’s the people. Cranberry Creek has built something truly meaningful, and we are so grateful to welcome their team into ours. This isn’t about changing what made it great. It’s about supporting it, growing it thoughtfully, and bringing our teams together as one.

Together, we’re expanding what we can offer our community—providing the same level of care, trust, and connection whether your pets are with us for medical care or staying with us while you’re away.

Today we’re celebrating someone who truly does it all.

An incredible doctor.
A compassionate leader.
A mentor, a steady hand, and a boss who shows up for his team every single day.

You stay late when patients need you, give up lunches without a second thought, and come in on Sundays to make sure every animal is cared for.

And somehow, you go home and show up just as fully — making eggs for the kids every morning, changing more than your fair share of diapers, and being the kind of husband and dad every family deserves.

That kind of dedication isn’t something you learn — it’s who you are.
