My teacher, Ajahn Pichest, passed away last year and his kids took over teaching at their school, Boonthumme Thai Massage School outside of Chiang Mai, Thailand. While the floods here in the US are big news, there is also flooding happening around the world and now it has hit their school. Pichest was an amazing teacher and healer and he's with me every time I do bodywork. If you can please donate to help them recover from this flood! Below is a pic of the classroom.

Reusi Dat Ton (Thai Hermit Yoga) is the self-care system of Thailand and the roots of Thai massage and bodywork. RDT is Buddhist in origin and distinct from modern Hindu Yoga theory that is, at times, mistakenly overlaid onto Thai physical therapy practices.
