We’re kicking off the month with something new and exciting—stations! 🎉
This new approach will offer multiple activity options at the same time, giving our members more choice, flexibility, and independence throughout the day. Stations are especially helpful during those morning arrivals and afternoon departures when our group sizes naturally fluctuate. We’re excited to see how this supports engagement and creativity for everyone!

This past week, our group also enjoyed a beautiful outing to the Tucson Botanical Gardens, where we explored stunning flora and fauna and took in the peaceful surroundings 🌿🌸

One of the highlights was seeing the orchids in bloom—reminding us so much of the uniqueness and diversity within our own program. We wanted to share this special poem inspired by that connection:

Some wear petals like painted porcelain,
others spill color in wild, unmeasured strokes;
none asks to be compared,
only to be seen.

We are like them—
rooted in soil both tender and rough,
shaped by winds that others never felt,
opening in our own season.

Diversity is not a garden of sameness;
it is the chorus of rare blossoms,
thriving together,
each a testament
that beauty is not one shape,
but the infinite ways
life learns to bloom.

We’re looking forward to another great week ahead as we continue growing, learning, and celebrating each individual 🌟

We can’t believe how fast March is flying by! It’s been another fun, full week and our groups have been staying busy, active, and creative. Our respite and habilitation programs are going strong, and it’s been great to see everyone so engaged.

Our Saturday group had an awesome time at the Renaissance Fair—such a fun and memorable outing for everyone! 🎉

We also got creative with Kathy during a sewing activity and made bucket hats just in time for summer ☀️🧵

Site B continues to impress—finishing another book, making it FOUR books completed so far this year! 📚👏

We even mixed in a little STEM fun with an Egg Drop experiment… and let’s just say there were some very creative designs! 🥚🚀

Coming up: we have a fishing trip scheduled for Tuesday the 31st at Rose Canyon Lake 🎣

We can’t believe it’s already mid-March! It’s been a fantastic and busy month so far, and we’ve been soaking up the sunshine and exploring some great local spots.

This Saturday, our respite group is heading to the Renaissance Festival! This is the first time we’ve offered this outing, and everyone is so excited to experience it together.

These are our current respite groups:

💬 Social Group on Tuesdays
🎲 Dungeons & Dragons Group on Wednesdays
🎬 Movie Group on Fridays
🌟 On Saturdays, our respite group visits fun spots around town!

On Thursdays, we host a habilitation group focused on physical activity!

The first week of March has been an exciting one and has definitely set the tone for what our spring is going to look like with more time outdoors and plenty of fun activities ahead.

We’re keeping the momentum going next week as we head to Sabino Canyon for the first time in a while. It’s always a great spot to enjoy the scenery, get some fresh air, and spend time together.

We kicked off the day at Reid Park and made the most of the fresh air and nice weather. A little time outside and seeing the ducks made for a great start.

Later on, our members stopped by the new Savers at Craycroft & Broadway and it did not disappoint. It was a fun change of pace.

It was a full day, but a good one. We’ll be sharing our full weekly update later this week!

Just a little glimpse into our week. We’ve sent out our March newsletter, and we’re looking forward to a wonderful month together! We have two hiking days coming up, we will be checking out some new local spots, and we will also have a picnic at Agua Caliente Park!

As the weather warms up, please ensure your member has a water bottle, hat, and sun protection so we can make sure everyone is healthy, safe, and comfortable! Thank you all for the support 🍀

Our Saturday respite group is enjoying Tucson’s beautiful weather today at Agua Caliente Park.

This group spends their Saturdays exploring wonderful local events and hidden gems around town, and today was a perfect opportunity to be outdoors.

We have also rolled out our Monday and Tuesday respite groups, which have been a great addition to our evening groups, such as our Thursday fitness habilitation group and our Friday respite movie group.

These respite groups provide parents and guardians with extra time to get things done, with peace of mind knowing their members are safe, supported, and engaged. Groups run from 4:00 PM–6:00 PM.
