Our patient from today is an example of what we see far too often. He was from Illinois and was 26 years from vasectomy, his wife was told by her IVF doctor that IVF was the “only way they could have have a baby”, as a reversal “cannot work.” 🙄

5 failed IVF cycles (after each field cycle, the answer they were told was “let’s do one more cycle because that one will work”) and multiple s***m and egg retrievals later, they came to us for a vasectomy reversal.
