Palo Verde Behavioral Health recently had the privilege of strengthening our partnership with the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office, County Attorneys, members of the judicial system, and their incredible community partners.

We also want to recognize Sabrina Orange, an integral part of the Palo Verde team whose dedication, hard work, and commitment make a lasting impact every day. Sabrina serves as an important bridge between Palo Verde and Santa Cruz County, helping us expand access to behavioral healthcare and support not only throughout Tucson, but in neighboring communities as well.

A heartfelt thank you to Santa Cruz County for welcoming us, allowing us to present, and continuing to collaborate alongside our team. And a special thank you to Sabrina — we are truly grateful for all that you do!

Hospital Week at Palo Verde Behavioral was extra sweet thanks to our amazing team spreading smiles one treat at a time!

From unit to unit, staff rolled through with the candy cart to bring a little fun, connection, and appreciation to everyone who helps make Palo Verde such a supportive place for our patients and team members each day.

Please join us in welcoming Chris Miller, Coordinator of Risk & Performance Improvement at Palo Verde Behavioral Health!

Chris brings more than a decade of experience serving at-risk communities along with a strong passion for supporting others through compassionate, culturally responsive care. As a Tohono O’odham tribal member and someone with 12 years of personal recovery, Chris offers valuable lived experience, dedication, and perspective to the Palo Verde team.

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Homeland Security and Emergency Management, Chris continues to expand his knowledge in public safety, resilience, and emergency preparedness through a trauma-informed approach. We are excited to have Chris as part of the Palo Verde family and look forward to the impact he will make!

Our team enjoyed a delicious refresher station to recharge throughout the day, and we were especially excited to see our Night Shift crew stop by and join the fun.
