El Rio Health is proving once again that when Tucson shows up, it shows all the way up. This year’s Run for the Roses Block Party raised a whopping $139,318, thanks to the powerhouse efforts of El Rio Vecinos: the health center’s young professional volunteer group.

These funds will directly support uninsured patients in need of cancer screenings and treatment, ensuring that lifesaving care is accessible to more people in our community. It’s just one example of how El Rio Health continues to serve the region with heart and purpose — and how Tucson continues to thrive as a place where careers in healthcare meet real community change.
