🎉 Heart to Hero: Small Essentials, Big Impact 🎉

This October, Inspirations of River Centre is honoring our community’s first responders with our Heart to Hero donation drive. From October 1–25, we’re collecting small, high-need essentials to pack into gratitude bags for our local heroes. 💜

👜 Items Needed:

✔ Unscented lip balms
✔ Hand sanitizer
✔ Sunscreen
✔ Body/face wipes
✔ Hand creams
✔ Notepads

🐾🎶 We had a wonderful visit with Tom Nickel last week! He brought along his three sweet dogs and shared beautiful music with our residents—making it a day full of joy, wagging tails, and smiles all around. 💕

On September 11th, our community came together to honor and remember. ❤️

✨ Our staff and residents baked delicious cookie sandwiches and delivered them to our local fire department as a small token of gratitude for their service.
🎨 Together, we created a heartfelt memorial painting to reflect on the day and those we will never forget.
🍪 And of course, we shared cookies with our residents, giving everyone a sweet way to pause and remember.

We are proud of the unity, creativity, and care our community shows in both remembrance and celebration of Patriots Day. 💙🤍❤️

Fresh pots, fresh flowers, fresh look! 🎨🌸 Our Executive Director and one of our residents teamed up to repaint the entryway pots and plant cheerful purple lantanas. Now our front doors are blooming with color and charm—what a welcome! 💜

🌟 National Assisted Living Week 2025 Recap 🌟

We may not have posted last week, but that’s because we were too busy having fun on our Ageless Adventure! 🧳✨ Here’s a look back at the exciting week we shared:

💻 Monday – Thanks to our friends at Atlas/Aegis, residents and staff dove into a virtual reality ocean exploration. The smiles and wonder on everyone’s faces said it all! 🌊🐠

😂 Tuesday – Laughter truly is the best medicine. Jim Toomey had everyone relaxed and entertained, filling the day with joy and connection.

💌 Wednesday – With Bayada’s support, residents created goody bags and thank-you cards for staff. To top it off, Mari’s Kitchen filled the lobby with delicious aromas and tasty food that everyone enjoyed. 🍰☕

🌸 Thursday – Residents showed off their creative side by making flower arrangements to brighten our dining room. We also paused to honor and remember 9/11 on Patriots Day with acts of kindness—assembling cookie sandwiches and boxes to deliver to our local firefighters and paramedics as a gesture of gratitude. 🚒❤️

🎶 Friday – The week wrapped up with friendly co****le games, cold beers, and live music—the perfect ending to our adventure together! 🎵🍻

We are so grateful to everyone who made this week memorable. 💜 The theme Ageless Adventure reminded us that life is always full of new ways to connect, learn, laugh, and give back—at every age.
