On Wednesday, the office had a soup potluck. Staff members made potato soup, tocsana, broccoli and cheddar, and caldo de queso. We also had salad, bread, and desserts. We were going to take some soup photos but they were quickly devoured! What’s your favorite kind of soup?

February is National Children's Dental Health Month!
At Designer Dental, we love helping our youngest patients build healthy smiles that last a lifetime! Establishing good dental habits early is the key to preventing cavities and keeping teeth strong and healthy.

Here are a few important tips for parents:
• Baby teeth matter! They help children eat, speak, and hold space for adult teeth.
• Start brushing early. Begin brushing as soon as the first tooth appears using a soft toothbrush and a smear of fluoride toothpaste.
• Limit sugary snacks and drinks. Sugar feeds cavity-causing bacteria - water and healthy snacks are the best choices!
• First dental visit by age 1. Early visits help prevent problems and get kids comfortable at the dentist.
• Sealants protect teeth. Dental sealants can help prevent cavities in molars.
• Brush twice a day, floss once daily. Even kids need to floss when teeth touch!

Healthy habits today create confident smiles tomorrow!

In honor of National Bird Feeding Month, we would love to spotlight Wild Birds Unlimited located right here in Tucson’s Eastside!

A special thank you to our amazing patient Brad, who helps keep our wildlife area beautiful by feeding the birds three times a week. We are so grateful for his dedication and love for nature!

One of Brad’s favorite charities is the Tucson Wildlife Center, and Designet Dental is proud to support their important work with a charity drive from February 16 through March 16.

Look who came in for dental cleanings. Deb, our former hygienist, came in with her 4 growing kids while home in the United States. We don’t get to see them nearly enough because they have moved abroad for a couple of years. Their visit made our day! We knew our patients would love seeing a picture of Deb and her beautiful children. Once part of the Designer Dental family always part of the family. ❤️ ❤️
