We are doing research studies to help women who have just experienced a miscarriage with "Delayed Pregnancy Loss". "Delayed Pregnancy Loss", also known as "missed miscarriage", means a miscarriage has occurred, but your body has not completed the miscarriage process. This is sometimes also known as an "incomplete miscarriage", a "silent miscarriage", or a "delayed miscarriage".
The experience of pregnancy loss is an understandably difficult time in a woman’s life but it’s important to know that nothing you did or didn’t do caused this to happen. Early pregnancy loss occurs in between 10 - 15% of pregnancies. You are not alone and you should not blame yourself.
The goal of Delayed Pregnancy Loss studies is to see if study medications, often mifepristone and misoprostol, can help assist your body in completing the miscarriage process and allow your body to release the pregnancy, without any surgery. This could potentially give you physical and psychological closure.
Please reach out to Noble Clinical Research, a Tucson clinic in partnership with OB/GYN Dr. Catherine Westerband, immediately if you are currently actively experiencing a miscarriage. Everything on-study is completely free to you, including free access to medication, free care, and free imaging.
