Releasing is not about forgetting; it is about unburdening. It is the conscious decision to stop carrying the weight of a story that no longer belongs to your present self.
Sometimes, the "negative energy" we hold onto is a protective layer we once needed, but have now outgrown.
Releasing might look like:
- Accepting that some answers may never come.
- Letting go of the resentment that only hurts the one holding it.
- Shifting your internal environment from "survival" to "safety."
- Keeping the wisdom while letting go of the pain.
The truth is, you don’t have to "fix" the past to move forward. You simply have to choose the version of yourself that is ready for releasing.
