At just 23 weeks, Stephanie Ortiz entered the world. She spent 3 months in TMC's NICU where she received careful care and attention. Last week, she celebrated her 23rd birthday by visiting TMC's NICU with her mother. They had the wonderful opportunity to reunite with some of the nurses who cared for Stephanie 23 years ago, resulting in a heartwarming reunion filled with hugs and smiles.

Hannah Weaver didn't know what to expect when her water broke at just 17 weeks into her pregnancy. A whirlwind of emotions and lots of hospital visits were on the horizon. Luckily, with a strong support system both in and out of the hospital, Hannah and her baby underwent a remarkably beautiful journey.

In 2021, TMC partnered with Mothers' Milk Bank at Austin to become a donor milk depot, providing families a place to donate milk locally. Over the last four years, our donor milk depot has received more than 100,000 ounces of lifesaving donor milk. This translates to over 780 gallons of milk, providing over 200,000 meals to premature infants around the country! This milk is collected and shipped to the Mothers' Milk Bank at Austin, eventually reaching premature and fragile babies across the U.S.

As we celebrate National Breastfeeding Month, we would like to send our thanks to all of the families who donate to help babies thrive! Your generosity has literally helped save lives.

We're honored to share that Ashley Teeters, Vice President of Revenue Cycle at TMC Health, has been recognized by Becker's Hospital Review in their 2025 "80 Health IT & Revenue Cycle Up-and-Comers."

Becker's said, "Ms. Teeters has delivered measurable improvements to TMC Health’s revenue performance since joining in July 2024, including a 13-day reduction in accounts receivable and a $117 million decrease in open inventory. She has deployed AI-powered tools to streamline coding and prior authorization, helping staff focus on high-value tasks. Her leadership has improved billing turnaround times, minimized administrative delays and increased patient satisfaction."

Cupcakes and bras—TMC's amazing lactation team is finding special ways to celebrate World Breastfeeding Week. The team shared delicious cupcakes at the Women's and Children's Division and they're even hosting a bra decorating contest!
