Dr. Timothy Hodges is a board certified Ophthalmologist who has additional training in corneal microsurgery, cataract surgery, and refractive laser surgery. He was one of the first Ophthalmologists in the Virginia Tidewater area to perform Refractive Surgery in his own surgical suite. He also pioneered some of the latest LASIK procedures used in the Williamsburg, Virginia area. The new generation of LASIK also known as "SMILE" Small Incision Lenticule Extraction can treat Myopia patients with Astigmatism. Experience is crucial when selecting a LASIK surgeon. You need someone who knows not only the basics of LASIK but has also encountered special cases and has dealt with them successfully.
