Clinical Trial Myth #12:
“You need a doctor’s referral to join a clinical trial.”

Many people assume they can only participate in clinical research if their doctor refers them.

In reality, many studies allow people to contact research sites directly to learn more about participation and eligibility.

Every study has its own requirements, but asking questions and exploring available studies is often much easier than people expect.

Clinical research is designed to help connect qualified participants with opportunities to contribute to medical progress.

If you have ever wondered whether you might qualify for a study, we are always happy to answer your questions.

Clinical Trial Myth #11:
“Clinical trial participants are treated like numbers.”

Clinical research is built around people.

Participants are not “just subjects” in a study. They are individuals who deserve respect, clear communication, and compassionate care throughout the research process.

Research staff work closely with participants to answer questions, explain procedures, and help ensure they feel informed and comfortable during every visit.

Strong relationships and trust are an important part of ethical clinical research.

Medical progress is only possible because real people choose to participate, and that is never taken for granted.

If you have ever wondered what participating in a clinical trial is really like, we are always happy to answer your questions.
