Please Welcome Dr. Tyler Kidd to La Cholla Medical Group!

Dr. Tyler Kidd is a board-certified family medicine physician who cares for patients of all ages, from newborns to older adults. He provides comprehensive primary care, including adult and pediatric medicine, women’s and men’s health, newborn care, mental health, and musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Kidd is committed to meeting patients where they are-clinically, culturally, and personally.

He earned his medical degree from the University of Queensland–Ochsner Clinical School, completing training in both Australia and New Orleans. This international, cross-cultural experience shaped a flexible, globally informed approach to care. He went on to complete his residency at the University of Arizona’s South Campus Family Medicine Program, with a focus on rural medicine, where he served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Kidd values building lasting relationships with patients and empowering them to take an active role in their health. He is excited to join La Cholla Medical Group and serving the Tucson community. He will see patients of all ages.

Welcoming Dr. Denny Tsai to El Dorado Internal Family Medicine.

Denny Tsai was born and raised in Topeka, Kansas. He completed his undergraduate degree at Boston College, where he studied Psychology. After a stint of working in research, he completed his medical education at AT Still University, which was then followed by Family Medicine residency at Portsmouth Regional Hospital in Portsmouth, NH. After residency, he completed a one-year Sports Medicine fellowship at Via Christi in Wichita, KS, where he became more experienced with procedures such as ultrasound-guided injections and diagnostic ultrasound evaluations. He additionally has had opportunities to cover sporting events such as the Boston Marathon, Ironman’s, the NCAA basketball tournament, and rodeos. He will see patients of all ages.

Please Welcome Dr. Shannon Collins to Northwest Medical Group.

Originally from Southern California, Dr. Collins began his journey in service and science by joining the U.S. Navy directly out of high school, where he was stationed in San Diego. Following his military service, he pursued higher education and earned a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from the University of South Florida.

In 2013, Dr. Collins moved to Arizona to begin medical school at the University of Arizona, where he completed both an M.D. and a Ph.D. in biochemistry. He then returned to South Florida for his internal medicine residency at Memorial Healthcare System.

Now, he is excited to return to Arizona to begin practicing medicine. His clinical interests include sports medicine, with a particular focus on joint-related conditions, as well as integrative medicine approaches. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive care to adult patients, ages 18 and up, and looks forward to helping individuals achieve their health goals through a personalized, holistic approach. Dr. Hafsa Akram is a board-certified family medicine physician who believes that great healthcare starts with listening, trust, and compassion. She is passionate about working closely with her patients to help them live healthier, fuller lives—whether that means managing a chronic condition, making lifestyle changes, or simply staying on top of routine checkups. She believes in empowering her patient and working with them in achieving their goals.

Dr. Akram has a special interest in Geriatric medicine, weight loss medicine, and preventative care. She takes a thoughtful, personalized approach to every patient’s unique needs. She is
fluent in English and Urdu, which allows her to connect with and care for a diverse group of individuals and families.

Dr. Sarah Lawson is a board-certified Family Medicine physician with special interests in women’s health and preventive care. Certified in Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment, she offers hands-on support as part of her approach both physical and mental well-being.

Dr. Lawson received her medical degree from Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2022 in Glendale. She completed her Family Medicine residency at El Rio Community Health Center here in Tucson in 2025 which included the role of Chief Resident in her final year. Originally from Tucson, she is thrilled to be back in her hometown community. She balances her passion for work with a love of hiking, yoga, meditation and nutritious cooking with family and friends.

Welcoming FNP Ellen Pearson to Bhat Internal Medicine!

Ellen Pearson is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) located in Tucson, Arizona. She was raised throughout the southwest living in many national parks. She graduated from the UofA School of Nursing with her BSN. Afterwards, she worked several years as a registered nurse in cardiac, hospice and internal medicine. She returned to school and received her Master of Science in Nursing. She is certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and specializes in family practice. Her training comprises management of acute and chronic conditions for all patient populations. Ellen prioritizes a patient-centered care approach and works with patients to empower them as an integral part of the healthcare team. Since earning her master's, Ellen has worked in oncology and looks forward to bringing this specialized care experience to the preventative care setting. She will see patients 18 years and older.

Welcome Dr. Fichadiya to Tucson Family Medicine!

Dr. Fichadiya was born in Calgary, Canada, and pursued undergraduate studies at the University of South Florida. He went on to earn his medical degree from the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at Holzer Medical Center in Gallipolis, Ohio, a program affiliated with Marshall University in West Virginia.

With a strong passion for musculoskeletal pathology and sports medicine, Dr. Fichadiya incorporates osteopathic manipulative medicine to treat musculoskeletal issues in a holistic and patient-centered way. He particularly enjoys caring for undifferentiated patients—those who may not have seen a doctor in years—and guiding them toward better health and well-being. He is also experienced in managing complex care for elderly patients and those with multiple chronic conditions.

Welcoming Nurse Practitioner Alyssa Roy to La Cholla Medical Group.

Alyssa is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who brings over a decade of diverse nursing experience to her practice. Originally from the Midwest, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Michigan in 2011, and she completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at the University of Arizona in 2024. Her nurse practitioner clinical training included immersive rotations in family medicine, pediatrics, women’s health, and underserved populations across souther
n Arizona.

Before becoming a nurse practitioner, Alyssa worked as a registered nurse in inpatient and outpatient settings, primarily in adult oncology care. She worked on the hematology/oncology unit at Michigan Medicine and the women’s care unit at Tucson Medical Center. She also worked as a transplant nurse coordinator, guiding patients through cellular therapies at UChicago Medicine.

Tara Finley, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of nursing in emergency, urgent care, and pediatric medicine. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University in 2017 and is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.

Tara has built her career on a foundation of evidence-based medicine and a deep commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
