We had such a wonderful time back Hendricks Elementary for their annual Love of Reading Week! 📚❤️Our residents had the joy of reading to Kindergarten through 3rd grade students, and what a blast it was! From giggles and great questions to shared smiles over favorite stories, it was truly a special experience for everyone involved. There’s nothing quite like the magic of books bringing generations together. Thank you to Hendricks Elementary for welcoming us—we’re already looking forward to next time!

Our Independent Living residents recently put on their dancing shoes and showed off their moves at a wonderful Ballroom Dance Recital! 💃🕺For weeks, they’ve been practicing every Saturday with our incredible instructor, Sandi, who brings energy, patience, and passion to every lesson. From graceful turns to confident steps across the floor, their hard work truly paid off! It was such a joy to watch them shine, build confidence, and celebrate all they’ve learned. The smiles, the music, and the applause made it a memorable event for everyone who attended. We are so proud of our talented dancers and grateful to Sandi for helping make it all possible. Here’s to many more Saturdays filled with rhythm, laughter, and a little sparkle on the dance floor! ✨

"Out in Arizona just south of Tucson"🎶We made The Ballad of Boot Hill by Johnny Cash a reality with a fun-filled day trip to Tombstone! We hopped aboard the Old Tombstone Historic Trolley Tour, where we soaked up the rich history of this legendary town and learned exactly why Tombstone is known as “the town too tough to die.” From tales of the Old West to the spirit that keeps this historic community thriving, it was an unforgettable experience. After our tour, we enjoyed a wonderful lunch together, sharing laughs, stories, and great company. Days like this remind us how special it is to explore, learn, and make memories as a community.

🌹💍 This Valentine's Day, love was blossoming at The Inn! Join us in celebrating and congratulating residents Barbara and Jim as they exchanged vows in a heartfelt Ceremony of Commitment. Their charming love story began right here in our community!

Barbara reminisces about her first impression of Jim: "Woah, what have we got here?" She praises him for being sweet and kind while Jim can't help but adore Barbara's loving nature.

The ceremony was officiated by our beloved retired minister resident George, and was followed by a casual reception filled with cake, sodas, and Jim's famous meatballs! 🍰

Yesterday, we were honored to welcome Curtis, a resident’s son, who delivered an engaging and informative presentation to our community. Curtis is a Principal Investigator at the Thorne Lab at the University of Arizona, where his current research focuses on developing case-specific treatments for colon cancer and exploring the use of AI to advance this vital work. Following the presentation, residents participated in a lively and thoughtful open discussion, asking many insightful questions and engaging deeply with the topic. It was a wonderful opportunity for meaningful dialogue and shared learning. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Curtis for taking the time to share his knowledge, passion, and expertise with us. We truly appreciate the opportunity to learn from him and are grateful for the time he spent teaching and inspiring our community.
