At Sierra Tucson, we advance care by combining proactive, data-informed treatment strategies with a strong community of evidence-based professionals committed to innovation.

In 2025, we launched an automated Recovery Opportunity Cohort tracking system to identify residents who are responding more slowly than expected to treatment. When progress falls outside anticipated clinical trajectories, providers receive real-time alerts — enabling our clinical and medical teams to intervene earlier, adjust care plans, and allocate additional support where it is most needed.

Our Outcomes Team also contributed to the broader field in 2025 by presenting research at national and international psychology conferences. Highlights include: • Validation of a new brief coping assessment for clinical populations • Findings demonstrating that predictors of suicidal ideation differ among veterans and first responders compared to civilians

🍴 Something New is Cooking at Sierra Tucson!
We are thrilled to officially welcome our new Director of Food and Nutritional Services Alan Sanchez to our culinary team! To celebrate, we’re shaking things up in the dining room with a brand-new Chef’s Pop-Up Station.
These pop-up experiences are all about fusion and flair. They give our talented kitchen staff a dedicated space to flex their creative muscles and step outside the daily menu, bringing fresh, innovative flavors directly to our residents.
For our community, it’s more than just a meal—it’s a chance to try something different, engage with our chefs, and enjoy a unique tableside experience.
Please join us in giving Chef Alan a warm welcome! We can’t wait for you to taste what he’s dreaming up next. ✨

We are proud to announce the release of Sierra Tucson’s 2025 Outcomes Report! Every year, Sierra Tucson’s Director of Treatment Outcomes Alex Danvers, Ph.D., creates a summary report of our latest outcomes. While every individual is more than the sum of what can be measured, meaningful measurement allows us to understand what is reliably working and where we can continue to improve.

Understanding who we serve and the lived experiences individuals bring with them before coming to Sierra Tucson is essential to shaping effective treatment. That is why we utilize a resident-driven treatment model, empowering individuals to collaborate with experienced master’s- and PhD-level clinicians and care providers to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.
