Today and every day, choose to take care of you.

Addiction doesn’t always look the way people expect. Many people are still managing work, relationships, and daily life, which can make the signs easy to miss.

Here are some common signs of functional addiction. If you’re asking yourself this question, that alone could be a sign. If something feels off for you or someone you love, trust your instincts and start the conversation. Call (888) 433-3885 or visit CottonwoodTucson.com to take the first step!

At first, recovery can feel…quiet.

No chaos. No constant highs and lows. And that quiet can feel unfamiliar— even uncomfortable.

But that’s the thing about peace. If you’ve never had it before, it won’t feel natural right away.

So if it feels unfamiliar, don’t run from it. Stay. Because that quiet? That’s what healing sounds like.

"Cottonwood has truly changed my life. The care I received at Cottonwood was 2nd to none. The campus is amazing and has a very healing natural energy which is paramount in recovery in my opinion. The aftercare planning and awesome fun alumni events that they offer along with the amazing community and new friendships I have built outside of residential, has been key to my success in remaining sober and positive for the future. If you're ready for a new better life free from drugs and alcohol, or are struggling with depression or other mental issues this place will in fact change you!"
