“Your present circumstances don’t determine where you can go; they merely determine where you start.” – Nido Qubein

The New Year often brings excitement, but it can also come with pressure. You don’t have to take on everything at once or set resolutions that feel overwhelming. Focus on progress over perfection, and remember—it’s okay to lean on your support system.

"I arrived late June 2025 not knowing what to expect. I was just happy to be there. Happy to get the help I've been searching for my entire life. For the first time in my life I was surround by staff and peers who got me and actually shared their personal experiences with me so I didn't feel so alone. I learned there was a lot of past trauma I was harboring and I needed to work through my childhood trauma to heal. The staff just to name a few, Courtney, Julee, Amanda, Destiny, Kay, Jake (from State Farm), Lizzie, Juan, and Sweet D really made my stay exceptional. I wish I could name more staff because they are all so great well the ones who "truly care" are.

I walked out more educated about my mental health and ready to work on the areas that need to be healed. I'm happy to report months later the Cottonwood Tuscon magic worked. I have healed my inner child. (Yes, Kay and Courtney I am saying 'No' and setting boundaries with people). Love you guys and would love to come visit again as a senior peer!"
