Room changed for today

Update from Steve:

Hi everyone, we've got a ROOM! We'll meet today at 2pm in room 2114, in Building 1.

When you come into the cancer center, look to your right. There is a staircase there. Go up the stairs. Room 2114 is two doors to your right from the top of the stairs. It's on the left side of the hall. SEE YOU THERE!

If using the elevator, once off the elevator on the second floor, walk down the long hallway. Room 2114 is at the far end, on the left side.

Note: On September 17th, our meeting will be ONLY ON-LINE. The conference room we use for our in-person meetings is not available on Sept. 17th. The 9/17/24 meeting is on-line only.

A reminder from Steve:

A note from Steve about upcoming meetings.

Hi everyone in the prostate cancer support group.

On June 4th, our guest speaker will be Banner nutritionist, Michelle Bratton. Her topic will be, “7 food myths dietitians wish people would stop believing”. Sounds like fun!

Michelle also wants to cover any other topics or concerns you might like her to talk about, so please email me and I'll forward them to her.

By the way, our next meeting is this coming Tuesday, May 21st . I'll be sending out a reminder with the Teams link and directions to the in-person meeting next week. And, we'll have to cancel our June 18th meeting since I'll be away on meditation retreat and there is no one available to facilitate.

03/15/2024

Our 1st Tuesday meeting in April, on April 2nd, features guest speaker Dr. Meghan Skiba, PhD, MS, MPH, RDN, Assistant Professor, Division of Biobehavioral Health Science, Member, University of Arizona Cancer Center, UofA College of Nursing.

Dr. Skiba is spearheading an innovative partner-based exercise program for cancer survivors and partners/caregivers/family members called Exercising Together. She'll talk about this program and offer some new perspectives on physical fitness from a community.

A note from Steve:

Prostate Cancer Research Institute's Fall Conference -- 9/23/2023

Hi friends, I just received notice about a free on-line Prostate Cancer Conference, put on by the Prostate Cancer Research Institute, coming up on Sept. 23rd and 24th. I tried to find out details, but only found an RSVP link. Maybe if you RSVP you'll get more information, and since it's on-line, you certainly wouldn't have to show up if you didn't like their program.
