Our employee spotlight for the month is Przha Chalabe, LPC!

Przha is a wonderful team member who is always willing to jump in and help her coworkers. She is a strong advocate for our members and always tries to do what is right for them. She is also a great support to her coworkers, often joking and having fun with others, and many coworkers go to her for feedback. We are so fortunate to have her as a part of our team!

In this role, you’ll support women living in The Haven’s sober living housing, build meaningful and trusting relationships, and serve as a positive role model in recovery.

Qualifications:
- Certified Peer and Recovery Support Specialist
- Fingerprint Clearance Card
- At least one year in recovery

Today we celebrated the 20th anniversary of our Native Ways Program with staff and members.

The day included heartfelt speeches from our Native Ways alumnae and staff, drumming, and a delicious meal. Our alumnae shared stories of healing, arriving at The Haven feeling deep shame and leaving with self-love and a renewed connection to their true selves. Their words were emotional, inspiring, and a powerful reminder to our current members that healing is possible and hope is real.

We’re getting ready for a fun Easter egg hunt for our members’ children. We’re collecting donations of individually wrapped candy and plastic Easter eggs to fill for the big day. Your support will help create a joyful and memorable experience for the families we serve.

Donations can be dropped off Monday through Friday between 9:00 AM–5:00 PM at 1107 E Adelaide Dr.

Congratulations once more to our 2026 Chrysalis Honoree Nati Cano on this well-deserved recognition! Nati has been with The Haven for over 18 years, and she truly is the heart and soul of the Native Ways Program. Throughout the program, speakers thanked Nati for her dedication and spoke about her leadership and legacy.

Thank you to everybody who joined the event and supported our work. Thanks to your generosity, we raised over $45,000 to help women on their recovery journeys.
