This past weekend, we had the profound honor of hosting a pinning ceremony for Ray Groves — a 100-year-old World War II veteran and a cherished patient on our service. 🇺🇸

Surrounded by loved ones, Ray was recognized for his lifetime of service, sacrifice, and strength. It was a moment filled with gratitude, reflection, and deep respect for a true American hero.

Our very first Yard Work Day of Service earlier this year was a total success! 🌿💪

In just 4 hours, our incredible team logged over 50 hours of volunteer service—cleaning up and caring for the yards of our patients who needed a helping hand. From raking leaves to trimming bushes, every act of service was done with compassion and respect.

🧸💛 At Dependable Hospice, some of the most meaningful moments come in small, tender packages—like our Legacy Bears.

Each bear is hand-assembled by our volunteers and includes a special voice message recorded by the patient. They have the option to create the bear out of fabric from their own clothing or we offer color choices and get donated fabric in the community. It’s a way for families to hold their loved ones close, even after goodbye.

These bears are more than keepsakes—they’re memories you can hug.
