As you all know, COVID-19 has shuttered many of your local businesses and they need your support during these unprecedented times. There have been many posts regarding supporting your local restaurants and that is great! Keep doing it if you can. But don’t forget about your local service and retail businesses, they too need your support. It is equally important for you to support your locally owned service industry such as barbers, salons and spas as well as your locally owned retail stores such as hardware stores, flower shops, boutiques, etc.. Many are now offering “curbside” pickup, doorstep delivery, discounts, gift certificates, virtual experiences as well as many other creative ways to remain engaged with clients/customers. So please, before ordering anything on-line, stop and ask yourself “can I get this local?”. Also, if your appointments are being cancelled due to mandatory closures, I encourage you to ask if you can reschedule for a later date even if that means 30-, 60- or 90-days from now. This is also a great time for you to leave a positive on-line review of a local business, this too will be very helpful when things are back to normal and all doors are fully open again. Stay Healthy! Support ALL your Local Business when you can!

During this difficult time with the challenges of COVID-19 Virus we are all trying to keep healthy...particularly our Immune System. But we also need to make sure we are keeping our skin healthy too...after all, it is our largest organ!

We recommend doing the following (at minimal) for your facial skincare needs:

1. CLEANSE your face at least once a day. Although cleaning both AM and PM is preferred, make sure you cleanse before going to bed at night so your skin can repair itself as you sleep.

2. HYDRATE to protect the skin's natural barrier. This includes drinking the daily suggested amount of water intake as well as moisturizing your skin if dry.

3. PROTECT from UVA/UVB rays. UVA rays can pe*****te windows and through cloud cover so it is important to continue to apply Broad Spectrum sunscreen even if you are inside your home near windows and glass doors and especially if you are out enjoying nature these days.
