Some good news for your Facebook feed: For the first time in over 25 years the Arctic fox has successfully bred in Finland! The Arctic fox is a critically endangered species in Finland. At the beginning of the 2000s, the entire Nordic Arctic fox population hit an all-time low, with approximately 100 adult individuals. Currently, an estimated 450 adult Arctic foxes live in Norway, Sweden, and Finland. Finland sees an estimated 10 to 20 Arctic foxes annually, and the number of observations has been increasing in recent years. Learn more: https://wwf.to/3M8VnQU.
