DDP 2024 will be in El Paso! We are currently making hotel and tour arrangements, so stay tuned for more information. Our tour will be to the Kay Bailey Hutchison Desalination Plant and TecH2O Center.

El Paso is home to the world's largest inland desalination plant. El Paso has vast brackish (salty) groundwater resources that were previously unusable. The Kay Bailey Hutchison (KBH) Desalination Plant filters out the salts and creates a new supply of water.

Jay was a frequent presenter at DDP meetings. He spent 25 years as Senior Scientist for The Heartland Institute. Most recently, Jay was Senior Scientist for the International Climate Science Coalition. Jay was passionate about educating others on the science behind the fallacy of man-made climate change.
