A special thanks to Unleashed Christian Church's Missions Ministry group for hosting an event today with our residents called "Love Your Neighbor" bags. Together, we created wellness bags (167) of them, for those in need and wrote encouraging cards to lift their spirits. We are so thankful for the opportunity to serve and share God's love with our community.

Day 4 of Halloween Spirit Week: Epic Throwback Thursday!
Today was a total blast from the past as our residents kicked off the morning with a 1950's theme! Danny from the T-Birds and Sandy from the Pink ladies made an appearance-both human and canine- and set the tone for a rockin' good time.
In the evening, everyone gathered in the courtyard for a huge party with staff, residents, families and friends. Our Activities Department went all out, dressing up as KISS! Guest enjoyed grilled hot dogs, spooky punch, chips, cookies and snow cones, and joined in a lively costume contest.
A special thank you to Stephanie from Casas de la Luz and to Jose and Michael from Aegis hospice for providing hot dog rolls, candy and great vibes. Jose also rocked the house as our DJ! Also, thank you to our 2 caregivers for grilling the hot dogs!
What an unforgettable day filled with laughter, music, dancing and memories!

Everyone was dressed to impress for Wicked Witch Wednesday! The day kicked off with Wednesday bingo, which was full of laughter and excitement. Residents enjoyed Witch themed cupcakes while playing, and our lucky bingo winners took home beautiful Halloween shirts!
In the afternoon, we kept the celebration going with our October birthday party, honoring all of our wonderful birthday residents with gift, a Witch pinata filled with candy and good cheer! What a wonderful day of fun, friends and festive spirit!

Halloween Spirit Week- Day 2: Tired Tuesday!

Today we celebrated Tired Tuesday by spending the day nice and cozy in our pajamas! We started our morning with a relaxing session of chair yoga to get everyone stretched and ready for the day!
A big thank you to Robin from Hospice for visiting and leading a fun fall craft activity. Our residents really showed off their creativity, making beautiful autumn decorations that brightened up the room. They also had a great time while enjoying their candy bracelets.

This afternoon, the fun continued as everyone made Sock Pumpkins while enjoying some tasty popcorn and juice. It was a wonderful day filled with laughter, creativity and Halloween Spirit. 🎃

Today kicked off our Halloween Spirit Week! Our theme was Monster Monday- villains! The kids from our intergenerational group came ready to party. A big thank you to Joanna and Linda from the "Young at hearts" organization for inviting all the wonderful kiddos who showed up in their festive costumes and brought extra smiles to our resident's faces. We also appreciate the delicious cupcakes and fruit they provided.
The kids looked absolutely adorable, and three of them took home prizes for Scariest, Most Original and best overall costume. It was a fantastic turnout and a frightfully fun day for everyone! 👻 🍬 🧙‍♂️

Today's CAFE, the residents enjoyed this sinful, tasty, graveyard dessert that our Activities Director, Laurie, made with love! The residents loved it!

The residents had a fun-filled active day! This morning they played volleyball, basketball, ping pong and ring toss with their friends. This afternoon they enjoyed eating scrumptious s'mores while playing uno, yatzee, and cards! What an eventful day of fun!
