This is a full-time position, Mon-Fri 8:00am – 5:00pm

• This position requires the fulfillment of multiple roles and responsibilities:
o Admin/Front Office
o Billing/Collections
o Cleaning
o Marketing/Social Media
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Greet all patients or potential patients, in a cheerful and friendly manner.
• Perform all basic office duties, including answering phone calls, faxing, filing, copying, etc.
• Schedule patients for appointments and make edits to facilitate productivity of clinicians.
• Collect the appropriate information from all patients, verify insurance benefits, and obtain insurance pre-authorizations.
• Ensure patient records are maintained as required by policy and procedures.
• Update and maintain patient database to facilitate creating charges.
• Collect necessary payments from patients based on verified Insurance Benefits.
• Create daily charges and keep up to date.
• Help to quickly solve Insurance payment denials / aging issues.
• Perform general bookkeeping duties.
Preferred Requirements:
• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
• Computer proficiency including MS Word, Excel, QuickBooks Pro.
• Minimum of 1 year previous experience in a medical office.
• Knowledge of medical billing process, insurance reimbursement, EOBs and A/R strongly desirable.
